Good news! The deadline for the European Natura 2000 Award, which honours leading nature conservation achievements has been extended until the 15 October in order to give maximum opportunity to apply for this prestigious award. The European Commission is still looking for good quality applications.  Now’s the time to enter and have the chance to be one of next year’s winners.

Every day, thousands of Europeans invest time, energy and knowledge in protecting nature. The European Commission is again recognizing these achievements through the Natura 2000 Awards for outstanding services in management and conservation of the EU’s network of protected areas.

An open call is launched for anyone involved in Natura 2000.
