WWF has developed five different short films about the Belgian part of the North Sea
[ultimate_spacer height=”20″]With these short films WWF aims to sensitise, inspire and engage the Belgian population by providing them with objective information about the largest nature reserve in Belgium. The films emphasise the natural values of the marine and coastal ecosystem in the Belgian part of the North Sea, including the Natura 2000 areas. This awareness-raising and education of the public about ocean-related topics, also called ocean literacy, is important for increasing public support for nature protection at sea.
The videos were widely distributed through all kinds of communication channels, ranging from websites and social media channels to various media mentions.
WWF will continue to use these films for communication actions in the future. The films will also be available on the website.
